The city prepares for Christmas, welcome to Prague during the Advent season.

Advent begins with the so called “Iron Sunday” on December 27th 2011 and symbolizes the start of the festive four-week period before Christmas. This part of the year is the time, when Prague turns to a whole different atmosphere. Light frost and city’s hundred spires covered with snow, all the Christmas decorations set in the streets and even Prague citizens seem to slow down from the routine everyday rush.

Still, these preparations for the most pleasant time of the year have many faces. You can always choose, for example you can visit Christmas markets, enjoy traditional Czech Christmas food and drinks, seeing craftsman create their traditional products right in front of your eyes at the Old Town Square. Or you can visit some of the Prague traditional Christmas concerts taking places in nearly all of our beautiful churches. Traditional and probably the most beautiful ones could be for example the St. Nicholas Church at the Old Town Square or at  the picturesque Lesser Town.

Can you imagine what it would be like for your clients to organize an event in Prague in this special, cosy and friendly Christmas ambience?
